Anyone who wants to keep in shape and needs ton of fun should consider cycling. Getting involve in a cycling event is exciting. You get the sense of being part of a community and bond with people taking part in the cycling event. You’ll have the chance to push your skill to the limit as you compete with people who are potentially more experienced in cycling than you.

Nepal offers a great diversity of terrain with a varied climate from the pleasant scenic rides of the tropical plains of Teri to the subtropical valleys of the middle mountains, to the more challenging Trans Himalayan zones that lie in the rain shadow of the Himalayas. About 48% of Nepal’s population lives in the middle mountains, which includes the broad shallow basin of the Kathmandu Valley.Nepal is the world’s number one adventure playground for mountain bikers.

There are many advantages when it comes to participating in a cycling event outside of your hometown or area. One of the reasons is that you can try different terrains that are not from your norm when you are outside of your hometown. If you participate in a event that is outside of your area, then you able to view a different scenery then that of your hometown.

Bicycle racing encompasses many forms in which bicycles are used for competition. Bicycle racing includes road bicycle racing, cycle-cross, mountain bike racing, track cycling, B racing and bike trials and cycle speedway. The first bicycle race is popularly held to be a 1,200 meter race held on the 31 May 1868 at the Parch de Saint-Cloud, Paris. It was won by expatriate Englishman James Moore who rode a wooden bicycle with iron tyros.

You can also make a cycling event enjoyable for the entire family unit. Not all events are excessively cutthroat. Some are for scenic purposes only and allow you to enjoy a relaxing journey with your family members through your home town. It is an awesome opportunity to get your children enthusiastic about exercising and to spend some time with them simultaneously.

You should try out places that take you through scenic or historical view on your vacation. A state park is such a place; however, you won’t be satisfy because the tour is quick. Then there is the organized tours like the tour through the redwood forest or the desert. Now, this kind of tour goes by slowly; thus, you’ll have more time to enjoy the scenery.

Taking part in a cycling event is a great way to challenge yourself as you’ll be competing with other cyclists. Going on bike tours outside your hometown has several advantages. Signing up for a bike race on a route you’ve never been can be really interesting. Even if you study the route and know ahead of time where the hills and valleys are, there will be areas of the road you’re not familiar with. You will have to be on at all times and really think ahead to make sure you’re staying on course.

There are several styles of Porter Cable Air Compressors that can be bought nowadays. The Porter Cable Air Compressor brand of merchandise is made by Porter-Cable - a business that has been around from 1906. The Porter Cable Air Compressors are partners with the Porta-Cable brand of portable woodworking power tools. Porta-Cable manufactures its merchandise in Jackson, Tennessee, near sister company Delta. Porter-Cable and Delta became sister companies in the year 1960, but they give different items.

One such example is the 25 Gallon Vertical Air Compressor Portable 60 Gallon Tank 175 PSI. This item has a 175 PSI and a tank that holds the equivalent of 60 gallons. Its high capacity air regulator has a beginning PSI of 145, which culminates at 175 PSI. This product has the top level of moderate-to-heavy use and intermittent tool operation among its competition. It includes an oil-free design that is at once durable and easily maintained . It has a direct-drive twin cylinder. Its 120 volt induction and robust torque motor has trusty starting function, too.

Another of the Porter Cable Air Compressor models you might want to look at is the 20 Gallon Air Compressor 5.1 CFM @ 90 PSI model. This Porter Cable Air Compressor is built with a 175 PSI - 49 gallon equivalent tank size. Its high-flow air regulator begins at 145 PSI and reaches its capacity at 175 PSI. This Porter Cable Air Compressor is built to match the strictest regulations of moderate-to-heavy duty and intermittent tool operation in its class. Trustworthy starting can be attained by its 120 volt induction and high torque motor. Its ‘4 Pole’ 1725 RPM motor gives the tool a longer operational lifespan and lowers the level of noise emission. You gain remote air regulation and control in the surrounding work location of the job site because of the remote ‘quadraport’ center. This item also has a high-flow regulator and 4 quick connect units.

The last Porter Cable Air Compressor model to consider is called the Oil Free Induction Side Stack Compressor. This appliance has 6.0 SCFM that allows its 4.3 gallon tank to recharge more swiftly. More extensive window of tool usability is achievable because of the 150 PSI Max. 120 PSI cut-in pressure offers 30 PSI ‘Bonus Air’ before rendering a 90 PSI tool totally defunct. Its 1.6 running HP induction motor was designed for long-lasting use. It also includes push to connect couplers, a High-FloSM air regulator, and an oil-free pump that won’t cause oil spillage; the pump will run with absolutely no maintenance.

Mikael Dinar writes for an online project educating consumers about air compressors and their uses. His website is a great resource for air compressor reviews.

As Sports Illustrated’s 44th annual swimsuit edition hits the newsstands, so do twelve representatives of cheer squads from across the NFL. Eleven teams are represented in all, as the Houston Texans actually had a pair of twins on display - twins as in siblings - in Marissa and Larissa Coy of nearby Baytown, TX.

Even more interesting is how the debate about the swimsuit issue has evolved over the years. When it first launched in 1964, the question was one of taste, and whether or not a sports magazine so prominently featuring scantly-clad models was really acting in the interests of their readers (which it was) and the type of legitimate sports journalism Sports Illustrated prided itself on (which it wasn’t).

The great irony was that with the rise of feminism in America, the girls of the swimsuit issue were at once pariahs and heroes. They were derided by some for posing, accused of self-exploitation and setting back the cause of womandom several decades at a time, yet they were revered by others as bold and brave women, not afraid of their bodies and not afraid to celebrate beauty. That legions of men agreed with the latter didn’t hurt, either: the swimsuit issue was, for decades, SI’s biggest-selling issue of the year.

Of course, as time went on and the swimsuit issue just became part of the cultural background noise, the tremendous rise of internet publishing and various men’s magazine devoted to page after page of beautiful women in various states of dress, it became harder and harder to see what the fuss ever was in the first place. The SI ladies’ swimsuits may get slightly racier with each passing year, but it all looks tame considering what’s on the cover of even more hardcore publications like Maxim, FHM, Stuff, and the like (and that’s only counting the, shall we say, “mainstream” men’s magazines).

So with that, the new edition is out. Love it or hate it, the girls look great. Congratulations to each of them.

A mother had an interesting story to share which involves a Sea Gals poster. Now as grown adults, we’ve come to appreciate their hard work and effort in dancing for the crowds. However, what happens when your young son or daughter brings home from grade school a poster of the Sea Gals in full uniform? Should a teacher disallow these giveaways by the squad after showing up for a “spirit” assembly? Now I have nothing against NFL cheerleaders. They’re not bad people and they have nothing but the best intentions of providing good sports entertainment. However, some may think differently about whether or not their exposure in revealing uniforms is “healthy” for the younger audience. What are your thoughts? Leave a comment and share your opinion!

(Jacksonville, FL) The Professional Cheerleaders Alumni, comprised of former Jacksonville Jaguars Cheerleaders, have put together an Audition Prep Class to prepare ladies (17 & over) interested in auditioning for professional cheerleading or dance teams. Many pro teams in Jacksonville begin holding auditions as early as March for the 2008 season, and these ladies are offering their experience and advice to help make the cut however, these classes do not guarantee placement on a team.

Training classes are held twice a week from January through March at Bailey’s Powerhouse Gym on San Jose in Jacksonville. Bailey’s has partnered with Professional Cheerleaders Alumni (PCA) as their official gym, offering discounted membership to their PCA members and the use of their state-of-the-art facilities for classes such as these.

The Audition Prep Classes will include techniques needed for auditions such as turns, kicks, and basic dance steps. “What’s unique about our class is that it offers an inside edge that only alumni of professional teams can give. We have an exciting program lined up, including a photography session to give ladies tips at looking their best on camera (angles, etc.). A trainer from Bailey’s explained the importance of exercise and nutrition. We also have a makeup artist coming in to show the ladies how to apply colors and what compliments their skin tones best.”, says Darlene Clancy, PCA Board member and prep class instructor.

Donna Windsor, the President of PCA is also teaching classes. Donna says, “We are able to sit down with the girls and give them one-on-one advice about auditions, what to expect, the layout of auditions for most professional teams, and how to make a positive first impression. That makes them feel more comfortable about the audition process and less nervous so they can focus on the combinations they have to learn.”

For more information, or to register for the Audition Prep Class, go to www.ProCheerleadersAlumni.com.

Like all NFL cheerleaders, the cheerleaders for the Indiana Colts wear special uniforms designed especially for their team. The Colts NFL cheerleader outfit not only give them the freedom to dance and move as cheerleaders should be able to do, but they are also ’sexy’ and ‘eye catching’.

Some teams, in addition to using their cheering skills and cute outfits to warm up the crowd and cheer on their players, have been accused of using their cheerleaders to distract the opposing team. For example, the cheerleaders for the Tennessee Titans have been banned by the NFL from warming up or stretching outside of the opposing team’s locker rooms.

While there have been no specific reports of this type of behavior by the Colts cheerleaders, the Colts NFL cheerleader outfit definitely makes that a possibility. Its lack of coverage, tassels, fringes, and sparkling additions, can make the cheerleaders quite a distraction to anyone. This is especially true once you add in the sparkling personalities of the cheerleaders. Their bright smiles alone can be a distraction to all but the most devout football fan.

While the cheerleaders for the Colts wear many different outfits throughout the football season and the off season, the official game day Colts NFL cheerleader outfit consists of a blue sports bra type top combined with a short, white, fringed skirt. These are topped off with a matching white fringed vest and a silver rhinestone belt with the Colt’s horseshoe symbol on it.

Off season outfits worn for photo shoots and special appearances include swimsuits in Indianapolis Colts colors and short shorts with matching tops. All of these are decorated in some fashion with rhinestone horseshoes. While the cheerleaders may wear all different types of shoes throughout the course of their work, knee high boots have become some of the most popular to see on an NFL cheerleader.

While most professional football players will tell you that they don’t notice the cheerleaders or what they are wearing no matter what team the cheerleaders are from, the male football fans can almost always tell you who a cheerleader is cheering for based on their clothing.

The only Super Bowl XLII that you’ll be seeing is the New England Patriots Cheerleaders in Super Bowl XLII. These Superbowl cheerleaders are going to be the center of attention for those looking for the beautiful dancing ladies of the sidelines. The Patriots cheerleaders must be excited to be playing in such an energy-packed atmosphere which will have tons of fans yelling and screaming for their favorite team throughout the stadium. These cheerleaders have put a lot of hard work throughout the season.

It’s too bad that the New York Giants don’t have cheerleaders and it’s amazing that they’ve gone so far without an official NFL cheerleading squad. I consider cheerleaders to be essential to a team’s spirit and morale beacuse they energize the team’s fans. At least the Green Bay Packers have unofficial cheerleaders that come from colleges to cheer for them. Amazing the Green Bay Packers Cheerleaders are for their ability to endure such harsh weathers to cheer in.

By the way, if you never knew.. you can actually obtain autographed photos of the cheerleaders themselves! The New Englands Patriots Cheerleaders photos include those of Dinna Yap, Lindsey Barrows, Alicia Bardaro, Jessica Wanzie, Angela Lavoie, and much much more! Heck I went ahead and got one just because it’s so cool to get a personalized message along with your autographed photo from such beautiful and talented ladies. Who knows, if they win, you can always tell your friends and be proud of the Patriots cheerleaders for giving their team the support they needed.

Click here to get an autographed photo!

Even if the New England Patriots lose, at least the Patriots have left the stadium with something that the New York Giants don’t have and that is the vibrant, energetic New England Patriots cheerleaders. But I’m pretty positive that the Patriots will win, given such support from their talented Patriots Cheerleaders

The Gloucester Daily Times - published out of Gloucester, MA, population 30,000 and allegedly the nation’s oldest seaport - ran this story about Julie Warner. Warner is a local girl made good who will be representing her hometown at Super Bowl XLII as a cheerleader for the New England Patriots.

Now, not much mention is made of Ms. Warner’s football allegiances in her early days (she does admit to being a pretty big fan of her current employer nowadays, though), and stories about “local person connected to major event” are a dime a dozen. But statistically speaking, the odds of Warner not only being a cheerleader, but also a cheerleader for the geographically nearest professional football team, and backing that squad all the way to a Super Bowl, are really quite astounding.

Odds of being a cheerleader in America: 1,500,000 / 301,000,000

Odds of being an NFL cheerleader: 440 / 301,000,000

Odds, among NFL cheerleaders, of being a New England Patriots cheerleader: 24 / 440

Odds, by most Vegas sports books, of Patriots making Super Bowl XLII: .43 / 1

Odds of being from Gloucester, MA: 30,000 / 301,000,000

Not a sure thing among the lot of them, and the final tally is staggering: the odds of Julie Warner, the pride of the nation’s oldest seaport, ever cheering the New England Patriots in a Super Bowl work out to 1 in 1,702,910,000,000,000 - and that’s just among Americans. If the denominators are changed to reflect worldwide populations, her chances were suddenly reduced to 1 in 1,353,940,000,000,000,000.

By way of comparison, the average person’s odds of a being part of a few other long-shot events are as follows:

Odds of catching a foul ball at a baseball game: 1 in 1,189

Odds of bowling a perfect game: 1 in 11,500

Odds of being struck by lightning: 1 in 576,000

Odds of being attacked by a shark in the United States: 1 in 8,000,000

Odds of a meteor landing on your house: 1 in 182,138,880,000,000

To put it another way: the average American would have to lose ten houses to meteor showers before realizing their dream of being a Patriots cheerleader at the Super Bowl.

Here’s to you, Julie Warner, New England Patriots Cheerleader and truly one in a quintillion. And, it should be noted, awfully cute.

And, in an even greater twist of overcoming an assumed statistical impossibility, single. What do you suppose the odds are she dates bloggers?

Okay, so here’s the rundown on this site that allows you to create your own NFL cheerleaders Myspace layout. Two easy steps and you have your very own custom NFL cheerleaders Myspace layout.
Now, I don’t remember much of the game. I think the 49ers won, but that was irrelevant to my two-year-old self. This is not to say I was not thoroughly engrossed in the football experience, I just focused on something other than the game. I loved the “sparkly girls,” as I named them. I asked my mom about them, “How did they get down on the field?” “What was their job?” “Why were they so pretty?” I had fallen in love with the “Gold Rush Squad.”
